Pumps of type VA (VA 5500-50A, VA 4500-50A) are designed for application in systems for process water supply of main and auxiliary consumers of NPP power units.
Operating medium - sea water.
Pump are centrifugal, vertical, single stage. As a pump drive it is used electric motor.
Connection of motor and pump shafts - flanged, fixed.
Pump shaft sealing is of gland type.
Slide bearings lubricated by operating medium serves as support for pump rotor.
