Machine-building production

The manufacturing sector comprises the mill for production of electric welded pipes of universal purpose. The welded carbon pipes of 21 to 60 mm diameter and wall thickness up to 4 mm are made of sheet rolled steel. The pipe processing technology envisages a closed cycle of production ranging from a billet to a finished item as well as inspection by non-destructive methods in the process of manufacture.

The processing technology is mastered on cold pilger tube rolling mill HPT-90 for cold rolled tubes with diameter 8 to 76 mm of carbon and stainless steels, non-ferrous metals and alloys.

The production is equipped with two plants for thermal treatment with electric contact and induction heating.

The mill for stainless electric welded tube production (commissioned in March, 2001) in combination with previously installed cold pilger tube rolling mills has closed the production cycle and allowed to fabricate scarce tubes of different diameters in required amounts.

The sector of tubes finning, which are used in heat exchangers, operates for some years. In the technological process the base is load-carrying steel tube of 16, 19, 25 mm diameter, finned with aluminium tube of 27, 30, 39 mm diameter respectively.

The output of aluminium section products has been mastered. The equipment of Italian firms and domestic manufacture is used in the technological line. The line's design capacity registers 6000 tons of construction sections a year.
