JSC «Sumy Frunze NPO» has finished the shipment of gas cooling station (SOG-4), which is being constructed at Yamburg oil and gas condensate field (RF). The equipment is manufactured at the request of «Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk» Company which is a subsidiary of JSC «Gazprom». Transportation of the products was carried by rail. In general, the transportation was involved more than 100 waggons.

According to the contract, the Company supplied to the Customer six turbo-cooling units (TCU) of a new, improved version. With their help, SOG-4 will cool transported gas to a given sub-zero temperature, that is necessary for the efficient operation of the gas pipeline system in the Far North.

Equipment is designed by specialists of JSC «Sumy Frunze NPO» with account of climatic and operating characteristics of the region in which it will operate. There is no analogues of these TCU neither in Ukraine nor in the CIS. Centrifugal compressors of 8 MW power are the base of the units. They are equipped with a conceptually new flow part. All TCU are of modular version, with horizontal casing joint, that significantly simplifies their maintenance during the operation. JSC «Gazprom» is one of the largest customers of JSC «Sumy Frunze NPO». In 2009, Sumy company executed for Russian Oil&Gas Company a number of large orders. In particular, the Company manufactured equipment for the following compressor stations:«Zapoliarnaya», «Sindor», «Mikun», «Ivanovo», «Lukoyanovskaya», «Arskaya».
