JSC «Sumy Frunze NPO» fulfilled the installation and pre-commissioning at the compressor station CS-7/2 of Fedorovsk oil deposit. The station, which belongs to JSC Surgutneftegaz (Russia), was successfully commissioned.

In accordance to the contract, Sumy Company manufactured and shipped to CS-7/2 three turbine units (TKA), each unit of 16 MW power, as well as the necessary compressor station process equipment. In addition, the contract provided for installation and pre-commissioning, training of personnel for station operation.

The specialists of JSC «Sumy Frunze NPO» together with representatives of «Surgutneftegaz» started for units installation in September, 2009. Most of the work was carried out in the winter. Temperature indicators consistently kept at-40°C, which significantly complicated the process of installation and pre-commissioning. But, despite this, the installers fulfilled the work ahead of schedule. Provided that the installation of one TKA unit on average lasts six months, experts of the Company carried out all work within 9 months. Turbo compressor units successfully passed 72-hour complete test.

CS-7/2 on the Fedorovsk deposit was built in 1989-1990. At that time JSC «Sumy Frunze NPO» carried out manufacturing of the equipment for the station, as well as its installation and pre-commissioning. After 20 years of operation JSC «Surgutneftegaz» has decided to modernize this station to improve its efficiency. To fulfill this task the customer attracted Sumy Machine Builders again. In 2005, JSC «Sumy Frunze NPO» fulfilled the similar reconstruction for the «Surgutneftegaz» at compressor station CS-7/1 of the same deposit.
