Designed to create heat carrier circulation in the first circuit of nuclear power plants with VVER-1000 reactors.
The pump is vertical, centrifugal, single-stage. To compensate the thermal deformation of reactor plant main circulation loop, the pump design provides for possibility to move it in any horizontal direction. It is carried out with the help of three ball bearings fastened on pump legs.
The pump casing is connected with main circulation loop of reactor plant with the help of welding. The casing has three pins to connect locks with vertical and horizontal distance pieces, serving to precept seismic loads.
Reactor coolant pump GCN-195M is delivered with antireverse device and external engine DV DAZ 173/109-6-8AMO5 or VAZ 215/109-6AMO5.
The pump GCN-195M is in hermetic protective case and inaccessible for maintenance during reactor plant operation. GCN-195M operation is remotely controlled from nuclear power plant control board.
