The process gas compressor (conventional designation in Russian KTG-317) is designed to supply gas for process systems of electrometallurgical productions.
The compressor is a volumetrical rotor machine of RUTS type. Shaft seal is end seal. Oil is used as blocking liquid. Rotors are supported by roller bearings. Gearing and bearing lubrication is of forced type.
Casing parts and operating parts are manufactured of alloy cast iron.
